21-year-old Chevrolet driver killed in Interstate 75 crash…

Semi Truck Crash Piqua Ohio in Piqua, Ohio: A fatal crash occurred on Interstate 75 northbound in Piqua, Ohio on Saturday. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2010 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by 43-year-old Derek Blakely had pulled over onto the right shoulder in a construction zone due to a mechanical issue and was out of the traffic lanes. The driver of the Chevrolet, 21-year-old Yukahn Riffel, was pronounced dead as a result of the crash. Blakely was not injured. Troopers from the Piqua Post were assisted by Troy Police, Troy Fire and EMS, and Dick Lumpkin's Towing, and the crash remains under investigation.
