Car Crash Alabama Today in Alabama: A 16-year-old Alexandria High School student and state champion wrestler, Jeremy "Ryan" Lambert, was killed in a rural single-vehicle crash late Friday around 10 p.m. in Calhoun County, Alabama. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Lambert was driving a 2007 Jeep Cherokee on Vineyard Road near Lowimoore Road, about 6 miles east of Ohatchee, when the SUV struck an embankment and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, then transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries. ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the crash.
