Troopers and local officials entered the creek and rescued three occupants from the vehicle. One passenger, 15-year-old Ethan Rhodes, was flown to Norton Children's Hospital for his injuries and died Sunday. The driver, David Rhodes, 44, of Elizabethtown, was treated and released.
