The driver overcorrected and lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn and eject two occupants. An 11-year-old Columbia male and a 34-year-old Shelbina woman sustained serious injuries, and a 13-year-old Columbia female sustained moderate injuries; all three were hospitalized. The 32-year-old Shelbina woman driving the vehicle was not injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the driver was wearing her seatbelt while the other three occupants were not.
