Car Crash Chaplin Connecticut in Chaplin, Connecticut: Two men were killed and two others were seriously injured in a head-on, two-vehicle crash in Chaplin late Friday night around 11:53 p.m. State police said a Dodge Journey driven by a 44-year-old Chaplin woman collided with a Hyundai Elantra carrying four occupants near 17 Willimantic Road (Route 6). The front and back passenger-side passengers in the Hyundai were pronounced dead at the scene, while the 19-year-old driver and an 18-year-old male passenger were extricated and transported to Hartford Hospital with suspected serious injuries. The Dodge driver was taken to Windham Hospital with suspected minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by Connecticut State Police.
