Car Crash Columbus Ohio in Columbus, Ohio: Two people died in an early-morning crash involving a Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) bus on Columbus' East Side. Columbus police said a COTA bus heading east on Mock Road was turning into the northbound lanes of Sunbury Road when a black Audi Q5 heading south on Sunbury Road entered the intersection. The bus had the green light to turn left, and the Audi hit the bus. The driver and front-seat passenger of the Audi died at the scene. The COTA bus driver was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center for treatment of injuries, and one bus passenger was treated at the scene by paramedics. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
