Car Crash Chaplin Connecticut in Chaplin, Connecticut: Connecticut State Police are investigating a head-on, two-vehicle crash late Friday night on Route 6 in Chaplin that killed two passengers in a 2022 Hyundai Elantra. The Elantra collided with a 2018 Dodge Journey at 11:53 p.m. between Route 198 and Chaplin Woods Drive. The 19-year-old driver of the Hyundai and an 18-year-old passenger were seriously injured and transported to Hartford Hospital, while the 44-year-old driver of the Dodge suffered minor injuries and was taken to Windham Hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
