Car Crash California Today in California: Madera Police Department officers on patrol observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed early Friday morning. A short time later, dispatch received reports of a traffic collision near Avenue 16 and Highway 99, and the officers recognized the crashed vehicle as the same one they had seen speeding. The solo-vehicle collision occurred on the offramp and the vehicle was unoccupied upon arrival; a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a second firearm. Officers located two individuals, identified as Edwin Ramirez and Lesay Munoz, attempting to hide in a nearby field. No one was injured in the collision.
