Semi Truck Crash Mitchell South Dakota in Mitchell, South Dakota: Two adults were injured in a semi crash near Mitchell, South Dakota on Saturday morning around 6:20 a.m. The semi was traveling east on I-90 just west of Exit 332 when it veered south off the roadway, crossed Grassland Drive, entered an open field east of Grassland Drive, and tipped onto its side. First responders used extrication tools to remove the adult male and female occupants and transported them to Avera Queen of Peace Hospital; their conditions were not released. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, and the Mitchell Police Department Community Resources unit took the dogs from the scene to a safe place. The semi was carrying a load of cheese.
