Pedestrian Hit Buffalo New York in Buffalo, New York: Klaw Reh, a 17-year-old high school student, was run over by a garbage truck in Buffalo, New York, more than a year and a half before his graduation. The injuries were severe enough that he could not return home and required ongoing recovery. Despite his injuries, Reh continued his studies and appeared on stage at the Leonardo da Vinci High School graduation ceremony to a standing ovation. Principal Leslie Potempa said the school community was amazed and proud of his accomplishment.
