Car Crash Raleigh North Carolina in Raleigh, North Carolina: A speeding Chevy Blazer driven by 18-year-old Abraham Karim Manrique Ponce veered off the roadway on Arco Corporate Drive near Macaw Street in Northwest Raleigh on Saturday afternoon and struck two trees, setting part of the vehicle on fire. Ponce, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and later died of his injuries at a hospital. A juvenile passenger wearing a seat belt exited the vehicle on his own and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Raleigh police and the Raleigh Fire Department responded at 1:14 p.m., and the investigation is ongoing.
