Car Crash Florida Today in Florida: A man driving a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe was killed Saturday afternoon when his SUV struck the rear of a disabled 2023 International semi-truck trailer parked in the painted gore area of a northbound Interstate 75 exit ramp in Charlotte County, Florida. The crash occurred at about 3:02 p.m. near Mile Marker 161 at the Jones Loop Road exit (Exit 161). The driver of the Tahoe was pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi-truck driver suffered non-incapacitating injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
