Ebike Crash Spirit Lake Idaho in Spirit Lake, Idaho: A 35-year-old man from Spirit Lake, Idaho, was riding an electrically assisted bicycle on the right shoulder of Highway 41 north of Spirit Lake around 8:37 p.m. on Friday when he lost control and was thrown from the bike. Fire personnel performed life-saving efforts, but the man, who was reportedly wearing a motorcycle-style helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Idaho State Police blocked Highway 41 for approximately three hours while responding to the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
