Shooting Phoenix Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona: Phoenix police officers shot and killed a man on Friday night after responding to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance at a home near 35th Avenue and Greenway Road in north Phoenix. Officers were told two family members were fighting and one was armed with a knife. When officers arrived, a man came out of the home holding a knife and chased another man in the driveway, police said. After the man failed to comply with commands to drop the knife, officers fired shots. The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. No officers were injured, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety will lead the investigation.
