Pedestrian Hit Joplin Missouri in Joplin, Missouri: On the evening of June 25, 2026, an adult pedestrian was struck by a northbound dune buggy in the 3200 block of S Range Line Road in Joplin, Missouri, near the Texas Roadhouse entrance. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. Joplin Fire, Joplin Police, Newton County deputies, and the Newton County Coroner's Office responded, and the Joplin Police Department's Major Crash Team was called in for crash reconstruction. Range Line Road traffic was detoured or reduced into the early hours of Friday as the investigation continued.
