Pedestrian Hit Las Vegas Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada: A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a 2013 Toyota Highlander while crossing West Flamingo Road outside a crosswalk in Las Vegas. Police said the crash occurred at about 9:08 p.m. on West Flamingo Road, east of South New Forrest Drive near South Tenaya Way, when the pedestrian crossed northbound in front of the westbound Toyota and was struck by the front of the vehicle. Emergency medical services transported the pedestrian to University Medical Center Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, and the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is investigating.
