Passenger killed after RV loses control and strikes guardra…

Car Crash Virginia Today in Virginia: A 2005 Coachman Encore recreational vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 77 lost control, ran off the right side of the road, and struck the guardrail at the four-mile marker in Carroll County, Virginia. A passenger, Gretchen H. Karcher, 70, of Versailles, Pa., was ejected and died at the scene; she was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver, Ronald J. Winkler, 73, of N. Versailles, Pa., was not injured. Virginia State Police are investigating the fatal single-vehicle crash.
