One killed, one injured after crash involving IDOT vehicle…

Car Crash Illinois Today in Illinois: A crash involving an Illinois Department of Transportation vehicle on northbound I-57 near 127th Street in the south Chicago suburbs left one person dead and another injured early Saturday morning. Illinois State Police said a car and an IDOT vehicle were involved in a crash and pulled over to the left shoulder just before 5 a.m., when another vehicle struck both stopped vehicles. One person was taken to a local hospital where she died, and another person was transported to a hospital with injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
