Shooting Simpsonville South Carolina in Simpsonville, South Carolina: A man was shot and killed at the Ballantyne Commons of Simpsonville apartment complex on Gorman Place in Greenville County, South Carolina, around 7:45 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The following morning, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office arrested 20-year-old Nylen Antraveon Harris at a residence on Stenhouse Road in Simpsonville on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. The shooting remains under investigation.
