The semitruck was stopped and disabled in the painted gore area of the exit ramp when the sedan entered the gore area and collided with the back of the semitruck. The sedan driver, who had not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 45-year-old semitruck driver from Saint Cloud suffered only minor injuries.
