Car Crash Boston Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts: Mabinty Janneh, 32, was struck and dragged several hundred feet by a vehicle allegedly driven by carjacking suspect Ibraim Matos on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan Square on June 20, 2026, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities allege Matos carjacked a vehicle, drove the wrong way on Blue Hill Avenue, struck Janneh after she stepped off a bus, then crashed into another vehicle and a bus before bystanders pulled him from the car and restrained him until police arrived. A funeral service was held for Janneh the following Saturday at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in Roxbury.
