Bicycle Crash Virginia Today in Virginia: A sixth-grade student at Tuckahoe Middle School in Henrico County was killed in a bicycle accident in August 2025. Four middle school Girl Scouts from Troop 5740, based at Tuckahoe and Quioccasin middle schools, responded by creating a public safety video about bicycle helmet use in collaboration with Henrico County's communications department. The troop also launched a helmet drive collecting new child and adult helmets for donation to the nonprofit Girls in Gear, which teaches biking skills to youth.
