Hit And Run Connecticut Today in Connecticut: A 31-year-old Hartford woman was struck and killed by a car early in the morning on Ledyard Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Police said the driver fled the scene after hitting Keyshia Ortiz-Benitez. Officers found Ortiz-Benitez in the roadway with serious life-threatening injuries; she was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Detectives from the Crime Scene Division responded and took control of the investigation.
