DC man charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Oxon Hill

Police Pursuit Crash Oxon Hill Maryland in Oxon Hill, Maryland: On June 24, 2026, at approximately 6:35 pm, officers responded to the unit block of Audrey Lane in Oxon Hill, Maryland, for a stabbing. The victim, 44-year-old Corye Trapp of Oxon Hill, was located outside of a business suffering from multiple stab wounds and died a short time later at a hospital. The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect stabbed the victim during an argument, and there was no indication they were known to each other prior to the stabbing. The suspect, 38-year-old Anthony Joseph Key of Washington, DC, was taken into custody and charged with murder following a foot chase, with assistance from the Metropolitan Police Department.
