Police Pursuit Crash Bridgeport Connecticut in Bridgeport, Connecticut: A 39-year-old Connecticut man, Lee Roy Bember Jr., was arrested after leading state troopers on a pursuit that ended with a crash on Main Street in Bridgeport on Friday afternoon. Troopers were dispatched around 1:55 p.m. after reports of reckless driving on Route 15, and the BMW struck a wooden guardrail before the Fairfield Service Plaza. Troopers later located the BMW on Route 8 south near Exit 2A, attempted a traffic stop, and the driver fled before crashing on Main Street in Bridgeport. Bember was charged with engaging police in pursuit, evading responsibility involving property damage, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, interfering with an officer, and several motor vehicle violations, and was released on a $10,000 cash bond.
