Troopers were dispatched around 1:55 p.m. after reports of reckless driving on Route 15, and the BMW struck a wooden guardrail before the Fairfield Service Plaza. Troopers later located the BMW on Route 8 south near Exit 2A and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver fled, exiting the highway before crashing on Main Street in Bridgeport.
