Car Crash St Petersburg Florida in St Petersburg, Florida: An elderly Florida woman was found dead Thursday morning in a bloodstained hotel room at the Holiday Inn Express in St. Petersburg, wrapped in a blanket, sheets and towels. Deputies responded at about 11:35 a.m. after an employee discovered the body; the room contained bloodstains, overturned furniture, and broken glass, with obvious signs of trauma to the victim. Surveillance video showed the victim and suspect Paul Stottler entering the room together, but only Stottler leaving hours later carrying multiple bags later seen thrown into a dumpster, where investigators found documents bearing the victim's name, bedding, and bloodstained men's pants. Stottler was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
