Car Crash California Today in California: A black Lexus struck the side of the mountain and rolled over on State Route 79 near Gilman Springs at approximately 12:50 a.m. on June 27, 2026. CalFire responded to the traffic collision, which required extrication. One person was transported with major injuries. CHP was also referenced in responding to the incident.
