Shooting Austin Texas in Austin, Texas: A 47-year-old Austin man, Michael Scott Crawford, was arrested and charged with murder after a fatal shooting early Saturday morning in the Austin's Colony neighborhood in Travis County, Texas. Travis County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a 911 call at 3:29 a.m. and detained Crawford at the scene at 3:36 a.m. The victim died at the scene; his identity was being withheld pending positive identification by the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office and notification of next of kin.
