Assault Othello Washington in Othello, Washington: Adams County deputies arrested Joseph Andrew Abbott, 30, of Connell, in connection with a stabbing that left a 23-year-old West Richland man in critical condition. Deputies were called to Othello Community Hospital at about 7:40 p.m. on June 23 after a man with multiple stab wounds was dropped off. Investigators determined the victim was hurt near West State Route 26 in Othello, and Abbott was later taken into custody near West State Route 260 and Highway 17 in Franklin County with help from the Othello Police Department and Franklin County Sheriff's Office. Abbott was booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.
