Drowning Pocono Township Pennsylvania in Pocono Township, Pennsylvania: A 9-year-old Monroe County boy drowned after being pulled from a hotel pool at the Days Inn by Wyndham on Hill Motor Lodge Road in Pocono Township. Bystanders rescued the child from the pool and performed lifesaving measures along with emergency responders. The boy was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township and was pronounced dead shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
