Motorcycle Crash Reading Pennsylvania in Reading, Pennsylvania: Patrick Powers, 70, of Muhlenberg Township, was riding a motorcycle on Route 61 near Route 662 in Perry Township, Berks County, around 12:40 p.m. when he left the roadway and struck an embankment. He was pronounced dead at Reading Hospital later that Thursday. The Berks County Coroner's Office ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma and the manner as accidental. Pennsylvania State Police at Hamburg investigated the crash, with assistance from Shoemakersville Fire, Northern Berks EMS, and Muhlenberg Area EMS.
