Ebike Crash Idaho Today in Idaho: A 35-year-old Spirit Lake man died Friday evening after crashing an e-bike along Highway 41 north of Spirit Lake in Bonner County, Idaho, according to the Idaho State Police. The crash occurred at approximately 8:37 p.m. on June 26 near milepost 20, when the rider lost control while traveling on the right shoulder of the highway and was thrown from the e-bike. The rider was wearing a motorcycle-style helmet, and fire personnel provided lifesaving efforts at the scene, but the man later died from his injuries. Highway 41 was blocked for approximately three hours while emergency crews responded and investigators processed the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
