Car Crash Raleigh North Carolina in Raleigh, North Carolina: An 18-year-old driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday around 1:14 p.m. on Arco Corporate Drive near Macaw Street in Raleigh. Police said the driver, Abraham Karim Manrique Ponce, was speeding, exited the roadway, and struck two trees. He was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car, and the vehicle caught fire after the crash. Ponce was transported to the hospital, where he later died. A juvenile passenger was also injured but is expected to recover. Raleigh police said their investigation is ongoing.
