Car Crash New Jersey Today in New Jersey: A 71-year-old Union resident driving a Dodge Challenger eastbound in the westbound lanes of Morris Avenue struck several vehicles between the Lowe's shopping center and the BP gas station, causing minor property damage. Near the intersection of Morris Avenue and Colonial Avenue, the Challenger, still traveling the wrong way at high speed, slammed head-on into a Toyota Prius. The 66-year-old woman driving the Prius was transported to University Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. A Subaru sedan driven by a 24-year-old Union resident was also struck, and that driver suffered minor injuries; the Challenger driver was taken to a hospital and remained under observation.
