Motorcycle Crash Brighton Township Fatal Michigan in Brighton Township Fatal, Michigan: On June 25, 2026, around 5:14 p.m., a Ford Fusion traveling southbound on Kensington Road in Brighton Township pulled off the roadway to check directions and attempted a U-turn, colliding with a northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The motorcyclist, Donald Douglas Arnold, was transported to Providence Hospital in Novi, where he later died. Michael Marc Morgan, a Livingston County man, was charged in 53rd District Court in Howell with moving violation causing death. The Michigan Supreme Court reversed lower court rulings to allow Morgan's defense to introduce blood-alcohol evidence regarding Arnold at the time of the crash.
