Drowning Wisconsin Today in Wisconsin: The Walworth County Sheriff's Office investigated a drowning on Lake Ivanhoe in the Town of Lyons on Thursday, June 25. A call was received about a kayak floating in the middle of the lake, and deputies along with Bloomfield Police spotted an overturned kayak about 150 yards offshore with a person floating next to it wearing a life jacket. The Town of Delavan Air Boat recovered the subject, who was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 5 p.m. The Walworth County Medical Examiner's Office assisted in the investigation.
