Assault Minneapolis Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota: A condo owner at the Hotel Ivy in downtown Minneapolis was injured during an unpermitted labor protest organized by Unite Here Local 17 on Tuesday morning around 7 a.m. The resident told Alpha News that protesters used drums, whistles, and what they described as 130-decibel stadium horns near the shared public entrance of the mixed-use hotel and condominium property, allegedly causing an ear injury when a horn was blasted near their ear. The resident filed a police report and contacted the Minneapolis City Attorney's Office, and a city official confirmed no permit was obtained for the demonstration.
