Victim identified in crash east of Golden

Car Crash Golden Illinois in Golden, Illinois: A Camp Point man died and two others were injured in a Wednesday night side-by-side versus sport utility vehicle crash east of Golden, Illinois. The side-by-side, carrying two occupants, was heading west at 9:14 p.m. One occupant of the side-by-side was pronounced dead at the scene, the second occupant was airlifted to Springfield Memorial Hospital, and the SUV driver was taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital. The collision remains under investigation by the Adams County Sheriff's Department and Illinois State Police.
