Vermont man drove drunk, killed passenger in crash, police…

Dui Crash Lowell Vermont in Lowell, Vermont: Randy Lemieux II was driving a Polaris RZR Side-by-Side on Newton Road near Cheney Road in Lowell, Vermont, around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday when the vehicle rolled over. The passenger, 22-year-old Maddison Hayden of Woodbury, Vermont, died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt. Troopers screened and arrested Lemieux on suspicion of driving under the influence; he was uninjured and lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail, pleading not guilty the next day. Police said speed is believed to be a factor and an investigation is underway.
