Two killed in head-on collision in DeSoto Parish

Car Crash Frierson Louisiana in Frierson, Louisiana: Two drivers were killed in a head-on collision early Friday morning on state Highway 175 near Scott Road in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. Carlos Helm, 49, of Mansfield, was traveling north in a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse when he crossed the centerline and struck Alonzo Thompkins' 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe head-on. Both men were wearing seat belts and were pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said impairment is not currently suspected, though toxicology samples were submitted for analysis, and the crash remains under investigation.
