Two Injured in Brookings County Crash Near Interstate 29
Car Crash Brookings South Dakota in Brookings, South Dakota: Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on June 25 at approximately 1:42 p.m. near the intersection of South Dakota Highway 30 and Interstate 29 in Brookings County. According to the Brookings County Sheriff's Office, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by 65-year-old Tamara Johnson of Brookings entered Highway 30 from Interstate 29 and collided with a westbound 2022 Kia Telluride driven by 32-year-old Morgan Brown of Brookings, who was traveling with two passengers, a 13-year-old and an 18-month-old child. Johnson and the 13-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance to Brookings Health System with injuries that were not immediately known. The crash remains under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff's Office.
