According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe traveling south on I-25 near mile marker 151, roughly 11 miles west of Douglas, suffered a rear passenger-side tire blowout on June 9 at approximately 6:30 p.m., causing the driver to lose control. During the rollover, three of the four tires flew off the vehicle, which landed right side up in the ditch; equipment failure is believed to be the primary cause of the crash.
