Car Crash Douglas Wyoming in Douglas, Wyoming: Two Colorado residents were killed and another was injured after a tire blowout caused a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 25 in Converse County, Wyoming, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Troopers responded at about 6:24 p.m. on June 9 to a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe that had been traveling southbound near mile marker 151, about 11 miles west of Douglas, when the rear passenger-side tire blew out. The driver lost control, the SUV left the roadway, rotated clockwise and rolled three times before coming to rest upright in a ditch, with three of the four tires separating during the rollover. The Highway Patrol said equipment failure is believed to be the primary cause of the crash, which marked Wyoming's 54th traffic fatality of 2026.
