Stockbridge woman seriously injured in head-on crash
Car Crash Jerusalem Michigan in Jerusalem, Michigan: Two people were injured in a head-on crash Thursday morning in Sylvan Township, Michigan, according to Michigan State Police. Troopers responded to the two-vehicle crash on M-52 near Jerusalem Road at about 10:45 a.m. A preliminary investigation found that a 48-year-old Stockbridge woman driving a Ford Taurus northbound on M-52 failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound Dodge Ram pickup driven by a 29-year-old Farmington Hills man. The woman suffered serious injuries and was flown by Survival Flight to the University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor; the pickup driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital. Police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors.
