Assault Wellesley Massachusetts in Wellesley, Massachusetts: A 26-year-old Wellesley man, James Bennett III, was arraigned on a charge of first-degree murder after allegedly stabbing and killing his father, also named James, at Phillips Park in Wellesley. According to the ADA, the two were playing soccer and discussing the World Cup when the son stabbed the father; a witness heard the victim scream 'he's stabbing me!' Police found the victim bleeding profusely near a slide, and he was taken to Newton Wellesley Hospital where he died. The son allegedly fled home, showered, changed clothes, bagged the knife and bloody clothes, and later turned himself in, telling police where to find the knife.
