Hit And Run Raleigh North Carolina in Raleigh, North Carolina: A Raleigh couple, Kathy and Bob Phillips, were hospitalized on their 40th wedding anniversary after being hit by a driver of a stolen pickup truck along Morgan Street in Raleigh. Authorities said the suspect, Robert Jerry Bradley, first crashed a stolen vehicle into another car at Ten-Ten Road and Old Stage Road, then jumped into a witness's pickup truck and fled before crashing a second time about 10 miles north. The Phillips suffered broken ribs, brain bleeds, and damaged arteries. Bradley faces charges of driving while impaired, felony hit-and-run, reckless driving, failure to wear a seat belt, and failure to stop for a red light, and remained hospitalized with crash injuries.
