Hit And Run West Rutland Vermont in West Rutland, Vermont: Police say a West Rutland man died early Friday morning after being hit by a driver who fled the scene. Vermont State Police say troopers were notified just before 5:30 a.m. of a man found lying in the grass off the north side of Main Street. Police determined that Devin Pierro, 30, was walking west on the street when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver of the car has not been identified.
