Hit And Run Virginia Today in Virginia: On Dec. 23, 2025, a car struck 50-year-old Jimmy Patterson on Fairfax County Parkway near Old Plains Road in Fairfax County, Virginia. First responders pronounced Patterson dead at the scene. Police later identified the driver as 20-year-old Shaza Edris of Fairfax and determined she was using her cell phone at the time of the crash.
