Aircraft Winona Minnesota in Winona, Minnesota: A 74-year-old pilot, Wayne William Ledebuhr of Winona, died after a small Airborne Windsports Microlight aircraft crashed at the Winona Municipal Airport shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday evening. The pilot was the only person on board, and first responders from Winona Fire attempted to save him but he died at the scene. The FAA and NTSB are investigating; it was not yet disclosed whether the crash occurred during takeoff or landing.
